How our Blackjack Ace tables handle the ace card
The ace in our Blackjack Ace rooms counts as either one or eleven, and the dealer settles your hand automatically based on which total keeps you closest to twenty-one without busting. Evolution and Pragmatic Play tables let you split aces once, and if you draw a ten-value card after splitting you are paid as a standard twenty-one rather than blackjack. We show
the shoe count on screen so you can track how many decks remain before the shuffle. When the dealer pulls an ace as the up-card, you are offered insurance at half your original stake, and if the dealer has blackjack the insurance bet pays two to one while your main bet pushes. You control whether to hit, stand, double or split from
the button row below the table, and the dealer waits for your decision before moving to the next seat.
